This armor is made from 18 gauge mild(regular) steel, 20 gauge 304 stainless steel, or 16 gauge mild steel, depending on your selection
All sets will come unpainted. Mild steel will come with a light coating of oil to prevent rust. Oil can easily be removed with a dry cloth and rubbing alcohol. (will have tool marks and scratches)
Unlike plastic this will not crack or break under pressure or warp due to heat
If it ever does get bent out of shape it can be reshaped
