Armor comes with light coating of oil that can easily be removed with dry cloths and rubbing alcohol
This armor weighs about 3 lbs total
Unlike plastic this will not crack or break under pressure or warp due to heat If it ever does get bent out of shape it can be reshaped

Reshaping services are offered by me in the event that a piece gets too bent out of shape, for a service fee plus shipping. Service fee depends on the part and the degree of reshaping. Reshaping does not include repainting or repairing damage to the paint that existed either before or after reshaping.
